Arlene Bluestein

Event Designer

Renowned floral artiste and celebrated fine art photographer, Arlene Bluestein, joined Evantine Design in 2004. She designs thoughtful, detail-filled, creative celebrations – focusing on bar & bat mitzvahs and weddings.

A Philadelphia native, Arlene began her artistic career at the Philadelphia College of Art with a degree in her first love, and life-time passion, photography. But life would see her put the camera down, focusing her energies on opening the Pampered Cookie, one of the area’s first businesses specializing in baked-goods gift baskets.

After winning Philadelphia Magazine’s “Best of Philly” Award for several years in a row, Arlene expanded her business into designing beautiful faux floral arrangements for restaurants, hotels, and retail boutiques. As with everything she touches, her silk creations were wildly popular and expanding into another medium seemed natural. Literally. In 1989, she officially launched Pampered Petals, a fresh flower boutique offering full-service event design and lush floral décor.

When Arlene is not producing Alice in Wonderland themed bat mitzvahs or lavish garden weddings for Evantine clients, you’ll find her exhibiting her landscape photos in art galleries across central Florida.

Arlene is a kind, generous, straight-talking, and compassionate artist with a disarming funny bone – in other words, an absolute blast to collaborate with on any creative project.
