Spring is Blooming in Our Store with Faux Flowers

Okay, calm down, you saw the word “faux” and thought… what? A floral designer and Best of Philly florist selling fake flowers? YEP! Yes, we are. Proudly, we might add. And, yes, we know exactly what you’re thinking. Fake flowers are nothing but waxy plastic leaves, fraying petals, fading ombré coloring, and, the pièce de résistance, a liberal coating of dust you can proudly display ever-more on your hall table. Does that about sum it all up? Well, think again! Those days are GONE!

The {faux} flowers currently blooming in our Rittenhouse shop are nothing like the scary fakes of old. Not only do these elegant silk petals, flowering branches and edible fruits look the part, they’re perhaps the laziest finishing touch we’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. No watering, no wilting, no rotting stems festering at the bottom of your favorite vase or vessel – what’s not to like? Sometimes you just need EASY for dramatic impact on an everyday level.

When we opened these boxes we couldn’t believe they were fake flowers either. But hey, don’t take our word for it. You’ll have to come in to view these babies yourself. Seeing might well be believing on this one. There’s even a whole gaggle of silk herbs and ivy topiaries in every shape, size and container you can imagine. Hey, if your favorite celebrities love them, perhaps you can too!

So, next time you find yourself on an A-list yacht or high in the penthouse suite, peer a little closer at those pretty pink peonies. Better yet, put your nose in them and see if those beauties are really REAL. You’be be surprised how many of these babies we sell. {we’ll have your bunch wrapped up and ready as soon as you call…}

P.S. And YESSSSSS, we still do, and always will, have luscious real and infinitely fragrant flowers here in the Evantine Boutique as well. Duh.
