Did you hear the news? Our friends at Philly Fights Cancer — an organization and gala event we are proud to support since its inaugural gala — has officially announced two of their three Philly Fights Cancer: Round 5 Gala performers!

Comedian John Mulaney

The first performer will be none other than Emmy Award-winning stand-up comedian John Mulaney. If you’re not familiar yet, you can check out his latest stand-up routine on Netflix.

Singer, Songwriter Andy Grammer

The after-party performer is multi-platinum selling pop artist, American singer, songwriter, and record producer Andy Grammer!

As Philadelphia’s most impactful annual charity event, #PhillyFightsCancer returns this year to the Philadelphia Navy Yard on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Last year, a sold-out crowd of over 1,800 grateful families, generous benefactors, faculty, staff, and friends attended Philly Fights Cancer: Round 4, raising an extraordinary $10 million. Funds raised at the Philly Fights Cancer Gala support the clinical trials and translational research at the Abramson Cancer Center.

In addition to incredible talent, this year Philly Fights Cancer is privileged to honor the Breast Cancer Clinical Investigative Team at the Abramson Cancer Center, a comprehensive team of highly-skilled breast cancer surgeons, sub-specialist medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, plastic surgeons, and oncology nurse navigators. The team meets weekly to discuss each patient’s treatment, resulting in the most advanced high- tech personalized care – providing education, compassionate care and the support needed to help each patient navigate their diagnosis and treatment plans. Margaret Anne and Jim have been instrumental in leading the way in support of breast cancer research at the Abramson Cancer Center. Their passionate advocacy, generosity, and commitment to cancer research and patient care is inspiring.
