Layla Grayce is an online retail company offering an incredible collection of hand-picked products for home, women and children.  Earlier this month we had the honor of guest blogging on Layla Grayce’s wonderful home and lifestyle design blog The Backroom.  We love their style and say “ditto” to their philosophy!  “Beautiful surroundings that express your personal take on lifestyle shouldn’t be a luxury – it should be a necessity.”  ABSOLUTELY!

With our great love of celebrations in common, we asked the expert party planner, Melissa Paul, at Evantine Design to share her inspirations for this season’s festivities. Evantine Design is a premier event design company in Philadelphia, PA with a fabulous sense of style.

We’re tremendously inspired by interior design and how it can be incorporated into party planning , personal gatherings and home entertaining.

In Spring, blooming branches burst to life overnight, awakening winter’s snoozing gray terrain with vibrant color and texture. It’s truly a magical time of bubbling love with couples choosing to embark on their own new beginnings.

When event design comes into play – happily, dramatic spaces such as the modern urban loft setting shown, don’t require major adornment. We do, however, believe in the power of a single striking focal point. Using back-to-back incredible weathered wooden farmhouse tables was perfect for a large display of flowering forsythia branches, limoncello garden roses and golden ranunculus blossoms. We also love to personalize tables with unique treasures such as creamy ceramic flowers holding calligraphed place cards and collections of metallic candlesticks. All sitting gracefully under a glamorous twinkling crystal chandelier!

Perhaps you’ll be inspired to decorate your party with stylish elements from home using a Bradshaw Kirchofer Farmhouse Dining Table, suspended Cream 5-light Crystal Chandelier, multiple Antiqued Mercury Glass Candle Sticks dancing down the table, multiple Palmetto Glass Vases filled with flowering branches and Ceramic Lotus Tealight Holders nestled in between for warm surface lighting.
